on April 5, 2008During my break I wandered in this neighborhood and Piazza delle Coppelle was this special corner where there were not many tourists. Yes, it's just 2 min walk from Pantheon, but instead tourists you will see small farmer market in the morning.
"Da Mario" has a nice patio outside, so you can sit outside and watch everyday Roman life, people buying vegetables etc. I really enjoy it.
As long as it's family run place since more than 30 years the food is really good, real home-made cooking. The prices are lower than in other places in this location and the quality much higher.
Opened for lunch and dinner.
It's closed on Sundays.
