  • if you are plaining to come to Rome be very carefull at pickpockets traveling on the underground and bus! they are very fast and soft ! keep always your money or credit card well hidden and good luck!

  • yes, all the rumors you've heard about pickpockets are true. be especially careful on the tourist buses (like 40). they consist of dirty little girls who cause a disruption, and they go through the crowd taking what they believe is theirs. if you catch them, you'll probably get your wallet (sans money) back, which one very persistent Swedish teenage did on my bus. these girls are very international. they can scream 'i have nothing' in Italian, German, and probably English.
