 | Milan Shopping or Fashion District Reviews | Tips 1 - 9 of 9 | | This AMAZING shopping center is located just after Lake Como and it's opened every day including Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. If you exit Mendrisio (second exit after crossing the border into Switzerland), you'll be able to catch a glimpse of Foxtown. Alternatively, you can take the train from Milano to Chiasso and then - a taxi to Foxtown. Foxtown houses 4 levels of pure designer shopping bliss! I'm talking about buying Prada, Iceberg, Versace, Gucci and even Nike etc at rock bottom prices. Believe me, you'll go crazy here... Just imagine, you can get designer clothings at an even lower cost compared to the stock houses in Milan! Now I understand how the Italians could afford to look so well dressed every day! ;-) In any case, this place makes a great weekend day trip because besides all this shopping to tempt even the strongest-willed woman, there's even a cafe, restaurant and casino. Good place (and good idea) to dump your boyfriend/hubby here before they start grumbling about your spending habits. ;-)

PHOTO : MONTENAPOLEONE STREET. Milan, like the other great capitals, is not just art and history. Milan too has fashionable streets where people flock to shop and meet. Leave a Comment

Corso Como 10, is a large bazaar with a selection of clothes and home objects from all over the world, eclectic and unusual, many collected by the owner, Carla Sozzani, including slippers from Morocco and rugs from India. Have a drink and/or snack in the bar, and check out the art gallery upstairs with a constantly-changing exhibit. Leave a Comment

The outlet of the fashion in Serravalle Scrivia. Motorway to GENOVA, exit Serravalle Scrivia. shops of Versace, Samsonite, Nike....and the place is cuilt as an old village of the plains (the area is beautiful with vineyards and hills...) Leave a Comment

Secondhand best shopping in Milan by Docks Dora... an old factory partially renewed to host a great secondhand store for trousers, shirts, jackets & many other stuff ... it deserves a quick visit even if you're not a 2ndhand fan. Away from the crowd located in via Toffetti.

A quaint backstreet area in noth-west Milan with loads of bars and restaurants. I love it's little cobbled streets, it doesn't feel like Milan at all, more like another typical Italian town with a bit of atmosphere. Leave a Comment

Franciacorta Outlet village, another example of what you can do with some space in the countryside: building a shopping center !!! Smaller than the "south" one, 60 minutes by car on the east side of Milan.
